Denali
Denali National Park is home to Mt. McKinley, the tallest peak in North America. Denali is an Athabaskan word meaning "the great one" as it refers to Mt. McKinley. The day we toured Denali, we boarded a converted school bus operated by the National Park system, for the eight hour "Tundra Wilderness Tour" which drove 53 miles into the park to the Toklat River stop. The only way to see Denali is on foot or by these park vehicles as private cars are restricted from going beyond the first 15 miles into the park. http://www.nps.gov/archive/dena/home/visitorinfo/bus/busmap.htm
